Gwenn Roos

GWENN E. ROOS

Gwenn Roos is a corporate attorney, specializing in intellectual property rights and licensed to practice in
Massachusetts and in Israel. She represents clients in their corporate legal matters as well as legal issues surrounding a broad range of intellectual property related matters, including trademark, trade dress, copyright, licensing and other issues related to the protection and use of intellectual property. Additionally, Ms. Roos acts as General Counsel to small and start up businesses.

With almost 20 years of experience in the areas of general corporate law and intellectual property, she has handled a variety of clients’ intellectual property and corporate issues, including developing licensing programs and assisting in various mergers and acquisitions and a wide variety of legal issues, ranging from software licensing and development agreements to real estate to immigration.

Not only do her clients depend on her legal services in the areas of general corporate law and intellectual property, but they also tend to rely on her for business strategy and advice. Ms. Roos has a unique gift for finding resources which benefit her clients.

Ms. Roos’ practice includes: advice and counseling related to corporate and intellectual property matters including, trademark selection, clearance, prosecution, maintenance and litigation within the Patent and Trademark Office and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; Copyright registration and protection, Internet issues, including
UDRP, software licensing, setting up corporate entities, partnership, distribution and purchase and sales agreements, general employment contracts, licensing, merger and acquisition issues (due diligence, etc), human resources and other general legal matters which arise.

Ms. Roos is admitted to practice in
Massachusetts. She is a committee member of the International Trademark Association, Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association and a Town Meeting Member.

 
 
 

Paul Cohen

Paul Cohen is a corporate attorney focusing on contracts of all types, corporate governance, intellectual property, licensing, advertising, employment, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate communications.   In addition to his role as part-time General Counsel to Novations Group, Inc and Counsel to Lionbridge Technologies, Inc., he also runs a private practice in which he represents his clients in their corporate legal matters. 

 

Mr. Cohen attended Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he completed a five year BA/MBA program.  He attended Suffolk University law school in Boston at night while working full-time.

 

Mr. Cohen has over 20 years of experience as a practicing attorney handling a variety of issues such as the following:
Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice in
Massachusetts, is a member of the Greater Boston General Counsel Group, is listed in Who's Who in American Law and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbelll.

Mr. Cohen serves on the Board of Trustees of West End House Camp, Inc. and on the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Avodah.  When not practicing law, Paul is an avid (if not highly skilled) basketball player, cook, beach bum and traveler.  Paul is married with two children.
